Mr Joel Latham

Joel Latham is an accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) working in our NeuroMoves program – a collaboration between ECU and Spinal Cord Injuries Australia (SCIA), NeuroMoves is the exercise service of SCIA. Joel has been with the NeuroMoves team since graduating in 2014. He began his EMRI journey as part of the team at Vario before securing a position at NeuroMoves. Joel has taken on a variety of roles whilst in the NeuroMoves program and is now the Operations Manager for NeuroMoves in Western Australia.

This role consists of a mixture of clinical and operations work whilst leading the team in WA. He is very passionate about assisting individuals living with a neurological disability to maximise their functional capacity to improve their quality of life. Joel is an experienced AEP with extensive knowledge in exercise prescription and delivery for a range of neurological conditions including spinal cord injury, brain injury, multiple sclerosis, and cerebral palsy.
