The aims of this study are 1) to compare blood factors (cytokines) influencing cancer growth in age-matched healthy individuals and patients with different stages of prostate cancer and treatment, 2) evaluate the association between cytokine levels and body composition (muscle mass and fat mass), 3) investigate the association between levels of cytokines and prostate cancer cell growth when exposed to collected blood samples.
