Activity Behaviours in Mesothelioma

 Following a diagnosis of malignant pleural effusion there can be declines in health and wellbeing. One purpose of this research is to find out how much activity you do, and how much time you spend sitting or lying down. Currently, it is unknown if these activity behaviors are linked with quality of life or levels of symptoms, such as shortness of breath, or your overall survival. A second purpose of the study is to find out how your physical activity and sitting/lying behaviors are linked with quality of life, shortness of breath, and survival.
