The side effects of prostate cancer treatments can result in an imbalance of bacteria in the gut causing constipation, diarrhoea, incontinence and nausea. This study will explore whether exercise can improve the gut bacteria of prostate cancer patients receiving androgen deprivation therapy. The project will involve prostate cancer patients in a 12-week exercise medicine program. If successful, the findings of this study could significantly improve the well-being of prostate cancer survivors.
