EMRI researchers were recognised in the 2018 Cancer Council of WA awards.
The Cancer Council of Western Australia recognised staff from Edith Cowan University’s Exercise Medicine Research Institute (EMRI). Four staff members and a board member received prestigious awards and grants.
- Dr Favil Singh - Early Career Investigator Grant.
- Dr Nicolas Hart - Cancer Council WA Postdoctoral Research Fellowship.
- Dr Travis Cruickshank - Cancer Council WA Collaborative Cancer Research Grants Scheme.
- Professor Rob Newton - Cancer Council WA Research Career Achievement Award.
- Professor Anna Nowak (EMRI Board Member) - Cancer Council WA Researcher of the Year.
