EMRI is delighted to share that Dr Francesco Bettariga has been shortlisted (final three nationally) for the prestigious Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) Medal, awarded to the most outstanding PhD in Australia by ESSA in 2025.
Francesco’s thesis, “Acute and Chronic Exercise Effects on Myokine Expression and Cancer Suppression in Survivors of Breast Cancer,” is supported by more than 10 publications in high‑impact journals, reflecting an exceptional body of work.
