ACRISP is founded on the principle that close collaboration with a variety of research partners is the key to achieving its goals.
ACRISP collaborates closely with clinical researchers at La Trobe Sport and Exercise Medicine Research Centre and the Australian Institute of Sport. Our collaboration is recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC)as one of 11 groups worldwide to have the abilities and expertise to conduct research that makes a real impact on sport injuries. “With its centres of excellence, the IOC is saying that remaining injury free is just as important as performing well. We were chosen as a centre because of our expertise in maximising the uptake of injury prevention strategies and understanding why people do not always adopt them.”
