Prostate cancer

Weight Management for Prostate Cancer Study

To evaluate the efficacy of telehealth compared to a supervised clinic-based delivered exercise and nutrition intervention in overweight and obese prostate cancer patients.

Active Surveillance for Prostate Cancer Study

To determine the efficacy of implementing a program of exercise medicine specifically prescribed to delay (or even prevent) transition to active therapies and impede prostate cancer progression.

Pancreatic cancer

Exercise Medicine for Pancreatic Cancer Study

A pilot randomised controlled trial (RCT) to examine the feasibility and efficacy of a supervised, multicomponent exercise programme in patients with borderline resectable or locally advanced pancreatic cancer undergoing neoadjuvant treatment.

Breast Cancer

FASTEX Study

A pilot non-randomised controlled trial to examine the efficacy and the effects on the immune system of a fasting mimicking diet and a supervised exercise program in patients with breast cancer undergoing neoadjuvant treatment.

Exercise Medicine for Breast Cancer

To examine the effects of a supervised aerobic and resistance training on cancer cell suppression in breast cancer survivors.

Pediatric Cancer

Exercise Medicine for Childhood Cancer Survivors

To enhance our understanding of the impact of cancer treatments on muscle and bone health in childhood cancer survivors and assess the efficacy of exercise in improving the musculoskeletal health of survivors of childhood cancer.
